Response to Matthew Marco/Dadisman
I never knew how critical web design is for navigating the web. Most people come in contact with websites all the time, but rarely do they consciously notice the subtle differences between a good website and a bad website. This difference plays a huge role in determining if a website receives organic traffic or not. The accessibility, user friendliness, and compatibility of a website determines the success of that website. The role of digital marketing is crucial to your social media accounts/websites. Most of the traffic you receive on your website is because of your digital marketing efforts. How do you market your product or brand? Do you choose keywords that your audience will type into google that will bring them to your site or landing page? Does your budget allow you to bid on keywords that increase site activity? There is so many little things you can do to make your website or social media account successful.
Matthew Marco and Ceci Dadisman talked about web design/digital marketing being a process that requires problem solving skills, intuition, and exploring alternative solutions to the problems you are presented with. If you think it is hard to be the creator of a website, put yourself in the shoes of someone trying to navigate the world wide web and find a product on your page or explore your companies mission statement. There is so many factors that influence the success of a website and to be aware of these factors will help you craft a successful website. At the end of the day the website you are designing is a reflection of your brand or product that requires you to be creative and implement a website that is unique to your brand.
